Morning Everyone,
We have the start of a new challenge today over at As You Like It where we are asking whether you prefer your makes to be simple or fussy.
I am an in between person really, but when it comes to a "big" birthday or close female family I like to go that bit extra and make them more fussy. This card was for my daughter and I coloured the image, which is a Stamping Bella one called Bedelia and Betsy go for a walk, with copics. The papers are all from old LOTV paper pads and I have added flowers and leaves to go with the papers. The sentiment came with the stamp and the little tags are from Mama Elephant.

Morning Everyone,
Back with my DT card for the start of a new challenge at Allsorts where the theme, alongside Anything Goes, is Springtime.
I have chosen to use an image from Dreamees which I received as a bundle for Christmas called Spring Boots. There are different images of coloured boots to use with co-ordinating papers and this is my first card using them. I have inked around the edge of the image with pink Distress Oxide and used white ribbon and twine. The sentiments are from CraftAddiction UK.
There are 2 Penny Black stamps available from Buddly Crafts.

I look forward to seeing your lovely Spring cards. Thank you for your visit and see you soon.

Morning Everyone,
A little late with my post today for As You Like It where the theme is "Favourite Embellishment".
Morning Everyone,
Today is the start of a new challenge over at Allsorts where I've chosen the optional theme of Things with Wings to go alongside Anything Goes.
Morning Everyone,
We have a new challenge starting over at As You Like It and we are asking "who is your favourite person to craft for?".
I love making for all family members, but I have chosen hubby this time. He knows I don't really like/make many masculine cards so when I make the effort for him he really appreciates it.
For this card I have used tool dies from Sweet Dixie. I have die cut them in snippets of red, grey and silver mirri card and arranged them around the die cut numbers. The sentiments are from a Woodware stamp set also containing diy tools. He is definitely a Mr. Fix It so I thought the words were very apt for him.

Morning Everyone,
I hope you had a good weekend. I had a little play and this is what I came up with.
I used a LOTV digi image called Bunny Blooms and coloured him with copics. I've added two tiny butterflies from a punch, twine and paper from stash. The sentiment is from WPlus9 which I have layered with white and green.

A new challenge starts over at Allsorts today where Sarah is the host and the theme is "Add ribbon or a bow" as well as Anything Goes.
Morning Everyone,
A new challenge starts today at As You Like It and we would like to see a project using your favourite colour.
Morning Everyone,
I hope you are keeping well. It was really cold here yesterday so I spent the day inside. I did try to go out and do a bit of tidying in the garden, but the wind was just too cold so I ended up making this card to enter into the Colourful Options challenge.
It's a cute dinosaur from Spellbinders and I've cut her out with snippets and placed her on my arch die and used backing paper from LOTV. The sending sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp and I've used the computer for the Dino-mite Wishes. This is a photo of a few of the snippets used:
Morning Everyone,
A new challenge is starting over at Allsorts and the theme alongside Anything Goes is "Embossing - Heat or Dry".
I have used Gina K Ruffled Blooms for my card. I cut them out with their die then embossed and then used the co-ordinating stencil. I did it this way instead of just embossing onto a piece of card as I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it at first, but it is quite a large stamp so it fills most of the card anyway! I used various shades of inks, added the die cut to a the white rectangle which had been heat embossed with the sentiment from a Penny Black set. A lace edger from Altenew was added to the bottom.
The prize is a Lisa Horton Rambling Woodgrain Rose embossing folder and coordinating stencils.
I hope you can join us, have a good weekend. It looks as though we're going to have a sunny but cold day here. I'm hoping to get some crafty time in as hubby is going to watch a football match.

Morning Everyone,
Today sees the start of a new challenge over at As You Like It where the theme is "Cute or Elegant?".
Morning Everyone,
Time for a new challenge over at Allsorts and Donna has picked the theme "Create Your Own Background" to go alongside Anything Goes.
For my card I have used a rectangular die to make a template and coloured with Distress Oxides, Shaded Lilac, Picked Raspberry and Saltwater Taffy. I have to say that one of the edges wasn't perfect - I couldn't have held it down properly - so I had to cut the inked rectangle out to tidy it up and add it to a stitched die cut piece of white cardstock. I then stamped Sweet Bouquet by The Ton when the inked square was in place, matted with black and used a sentiment from LOTV.
The prize for this challenge is a set of four background stamps from AALL and Create

Morning Everyone,
We have a new challenge starting over at Allsorts where Ellie has chosen the theme of Boys and Men and there is always Anything Goes.
Morning Everyone,
We're back at As You Like It after the Christmas break and asking to see your favourite type of card to make.
Mine are birthday cards. They're the ones I make the most and when they're for a family member I like to make them according to their interests when I can.
This one was for the grandson. He's mad about Spiderman and his friends and I found this image on Etsy. I tend not to colour images for little ones as they are quicker to make and they don't know whether it's hand coloured or not. This is a larger than normal card, A5 size, and all I had to do was print out the image and find papers to match, which are from a Doodlebug pad.

A new challenge is starting over at Allsorts this morning and Helen has chosen the theme of Winter Animals to run alongside Anything Goes.
For my card I have used my Impression Obsession reindeer family die cut in kraft yardstick. I have cut a rectangle from a piece of white card to make a frame and then made the winter scene with a woodland die which I think is an unbranded one from Amazon. This was cut three times and glued together, the top layer being from grey and white paper. I found a suitable piece of snowy paper in my snippets box for the background and then made the snow by tearing two lots of white card. The sentiment is heat embossed in silver and from LOTV.
The prize is a Visible Image stamp set with it's matching dies.

Good Morning Everyone,
Back again with another card. I've decided this year to try and use some or most of my unused stuff. I have it in a basket and it's getting a bit overloaded at the moment as I was lucky to get some Christmas crafty presents.
These stamps weren't for Christmas. They were one of the first Altenew sets I bought quite a few years ago and hate to admit I've never used them. I stamped the outlines of the motifs with Versamark and gold embossing powder onto Bristol Smooth paper and then coloured them with my Zig markers, just two colours Light Green and Cyclamen Pink. The sentiment is also heat embossed in gold and from a Penny Black set called Super Day.
I've also used Stampin Up gold sparkly dots, MFT mini scalloped edger and gold and pink papers for the mats.

Hello Everyone,
I would like to wish you a Happy New Year and thank you all for your visits and support over the past year. Let us hope this year will be a good one for us all.
Hubby has gone to watch football today so I decided to have another play with my MFT Big Birthday die and this time used snippets in different colours for the die. This meant cutting the whole thing out a few times, but it has left me with more letters for another card. I stamped the little birds, cake and animals from two different MFT sets and coloured them with copics, fussy cut them out and added them to the card. Two die cut balloons also added to finish it off.
