RUDOLPH DAYS CARD

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are managing to keep cool today, wherever you are.  I'm just sharing a quick card I've made for the June Rudolph Days challenge.

This is a small 5" card with one of the Pugs from the LOTV stamp set.  When I bought the set I didn't realise how small they would be! That's the main advantage of digital images I suppose in that you can re-size them as you wish.  Anyway, I stamped the little fella, coloured with copics and fussy cut him out. I then stuck him onto a Gummiapan die which I bought in one of Swedish House Crafts sales.  I've backed that with a snippet of green holly paper and surrounded it all with a circular frame made with my dual stitched circles dies.  A strip of spotty ribbon was added as the final touch.

All the paper, apart from the bottom red mat, came out of my snippets boxes so I am entering this into Pixie's Snippets Playground too.

So, challenges for this card are:

June Rudolph Days - Anything Christmas
Pixie's Snippets Playground - Use snippets
Simon Says Weds - Anything Goes
Crimbo Crackers #187 - Anything Christmas
ABC Christmas Challenge - L is for Little

I would like to thank Karen for becoming my latest follower.

Thank you for visiting and have a good weekend.

SPOTS AND DOTS

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you've had a good weekend.

It is time for a new challenge over at Christmas with the Cuties and this time we would like to see "Spots and Dots",  as long as it's cute and Christmassy.

There is no sponsor for this challenge so I have chosen to use the cute Penguin Holiday Squares stamp set from Whimsy to use for my card.  There are 3 in the set, but I've only used 2, together with the sentiment which is also from the set.  I have coloured the little cuties with copics, heat embossed the sentiment in silver and added three of my favourite mini snowflakes in silver glitter card.  I've also hand stitched around the edge of the dotty paper for a bit more interest and added silver twine.

I hope you will be able to join in this month as we're half way through the year and we need to make a start on those Christmas cards.

I would like to enter these challenges:

Christmas Kickstart challenge - Glitter, Sparkle and Shine
Allys Angels - Anything Goes
Crimbo Crackers - Anything Goes
The Sketchy Challenges - Ribbon, Lace or Twine

Thank you for visiting and have a good week,

SUMMER OR WINTER COLOURS?

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you are keeping well.  It is time for a new challenge over at As You Like It and the theme for this fortnight is for you to showcase a project using your favourite of either "Summer or Winter Colours" (and don't forget to say why please).

I have chosen Summer colours.  I just love seeing the gardens full of colour and all the lush greenery everywhere.  I have used an old Penny Black stamp called Hello Dear and coloured with copics.   The papers are from a First Edition pad and I've added bric a brac, a little flower and a heat embossed LOTV sentiment.

The sponsor for this challenge is:

I would like to enter these challenges:

TIME TO RELAX

Hello Everyone,

I am sharing a just for fun card today.  With the weather being very wet at the moment I've had a bit more time to play in the craft room.

I decided to use another Ebay purchase, a wooden stamp bought when I first started card making.

I thought the image relates more to a man's card so I used blue and beige papers with kraft card for the mats.  I coloured the cute little PB mouse with copics and  inked the edges with Stampin Up Bashful Blue ink.  The sentiments are computer generated and I've added stitch banners and a few enamel dots.  A fairly simple make, but I quite like how it turned out as I always struggle with men's cards.

I would like to enter these challenges:

Addicted to Stamps - For a Boy/Man
Simon Says Stamp Weds - Masculine
Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes
Crafty Calendar - Masculine
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Anything Goes
Pixie's Snippets Playground - Large stitched banners, sentiments and kraft card were the snippets
Crafting with an Attitude - Anything Goes

Thank you for visiting and I hope you have a good week.

FAVOURITE STAMP BRAND

Good Morning All,

I hope you are keeping well.  It is time for a new challenge over at As You Like It and for this fortnight we would like you to show us a project featuring your favourite stamp brand (and don't forget to say why it's your favourite please).

I have 2 favourites, Lili of the Valley and Stamping Bella.  I used a LOTV stamp for the last challenge so I've opted for Stamping Bella this time.

I love LOTV for their cuteness and quality, but Stamping Bella often has images which suit my friends and family more and this one, Edna Loves Chocolate, is just perfect for one of my friends.  I have coloured her with copics and used paper from a Bo Bunny pad called Sweet Moments.  The sentiment stamp which comes with the image was slightly too big for where I wanted it to be so I created another on the computer (but then I changed where it was going anyway!).  I've added green satin ribbon to match and also glitter on her wings.

I hope you can join us for the challenge and if you'd like to pop over  here you will be able to see the lovely inspiration from the rest of the DT.

I would like to enter these challenges:

Southern Girls - Tape It, Lace It or Tie It
Through The Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
The Sketchy Challenges - Ribbon, Lace or Twine
Di's Digi Challenge - Add Glitter/Glitter Glue/Liquid Pearl
CCC DigiCreations - Eileen's Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes
Creative Inspirations - Glitz & Glamour

Thank you for visiting and have a lovely weekend.

REINDEER

Good Morning Everyone,

It's time for a new challenge over at Sparkles Christmas and this month we would like you to include a Reindeer on your project.

This is my DT card and I have used Reindeer trio by Impression Obsession and cut them in kraft.  They are surrounded by 2 Ebay purchases.  One is the Memory box flurry frame and the other is the frame die from Clearly Besotted. The snowy frame was a lot smaller than I expected when it arrived so I've cut it across the middle and added two snowflakes to hopefully hide the gap.  The frame dies were also a necessary addition to hide the gap.  The paper is from First Edition and I've layered them all onto a piece of kraft.

The sentiment is heat embossed on vellum and is from a LOTV set.

I would like to enter these challenges:

Penny's Paper Crafty #432 - Anything Goes
Crimbo Crackers #185 - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp Weds - Anything Goes
Double D  - Frames
Love to Scrap - No Rulz 3

Thank you for visiting and have a lovely weekend all, it looks as though it's going to be a good one here.
