FLORAL OR GINGHAM?

 Morning Everyone,

We have a new challenge starting at As You Like It and we are asking you whether you prefer to use florals or gingham on your projects.  For me it is definitely floral.  I do use gingham now and again, but I have so many pretty floral papers and the majority of my cards are sent to the female gender so they are much more suitable for my needs.

For my card I have used papers from a First Edition pad and a LOTV image called Big Bouquet which has been coloured with copics.  I wanted something different from Happy Birthday for my sentiment and found this little apt one on a Simon Says set.

ANYTHING GOES AT CHRISTMAS CRAFT

Morning Everyone,

This is my reminder post for Christmas Craft Creations where the theme this month is Anything Christmas Goes. 

For my card I have used a Simon Says Picture Book deer cut out with snippets of Desert Storm, Kraft and white cardstock.  The little scarf was also a snippet.  I have gently coloured him with copics and added glossy accents to his nose. Photo of the snippets, some before cutting some after -

GERANIUMS

Morning Everyone,

I thought I'd share this card seeing as geraniums are in season at the moment.   

The die set is from The Greetery and I've had it for quite a while and not used before.  It was one of those 'See it, want it, buy it, don't use it' purchases.  I am a bit of an impulsive buyer and have quite a few of those!

 I have coloured the petals with Picked Raspberry distress oxide (I have a few in the garden and this is one of the colours)  and the leaves with copics.  The plant pot is also from The Greetery and coloured with copics.

BEACH HOLIDAY OR NOT ?

 Morning Everyone,

Today is the start of  a new challenge over at As You Like It and we are asking which you prefer of either a beach holiday or any other type of vacation.

I like going to seaside resorts but am more of a poolside kind of person.  I'm not keen on sand getting everywhere and am perfectly happy on a sun lounger under an umbrella with a good book.

For my card I have used an old wooden Penny Black stamp coloured with copics and various oddments of papers from stash.

SIMPLY CUTIES

Morning Everyone,

I hope you've had a good weekend. Today is the start of a new challenge at the Cutie Pie challenge and the theme is "Simply Cuties" so we're looking for cas and cute.

For my card I have used this cute Critter Crowd from Simon Says Stamp coloured with copics.  The sentiment comes with the set and I decided to colour this in rainbow colours. I didn't have any green card for the bottom layer so coloured the edges with a matching pen on a piece of white card.
