BELLA & HER BUBBLES

Morning Everyone,

This is a card made for my daughter's birthday using a Stamping Bella stamp. 

I have coloured her with copics and added lots of stickles to the bubbles. The papers are from a Whimsy stamps pad and the sentiment is computer generated.  I thought I'd add a few pearls and a bit of lace as these have been neglected of late.

NO STAMPING

Morning Everyone,

This is my reminder post for Christmas Craft Creations where the theme is 'No Stamping'.

For my card I have used a Spellbinders die purchased in their recent sale for the sentiment and added a poinsettia, little flower and pearls in red. I cut the sentiment twice, once in the centre of the white rectangle and then again in red and glued the red onto the white. This made it easier than just trying to place the red one in the correct position.

There are two prizes on offer and you have until Tuesday, 13th June to enter.

BOYS OR GIRLS?

Morning Everyone,

I can't believe it's been 2 weeks since I last posted a card, but it is getting busier in the garden now and we paid a visit to the garden centre at the weekend and bought bedding plants.  Most of them go into pots or hanging baskets as they never seem to do very well in the ground.

I'm here for a new challenge over at As You Like It and we're asking whether you prefer to make for boys or girls.

It's girls for me. I think they are much easier and more open to adding embellishments such as flowers, glitter etc.  This is a card I made for my 9 year old niece and although no flowers, there is plenty of glitter but it doesn't show very well in the photo.  

It is made up of the cute Stamping Bella unicorns, which were stamped onto snippets of copic friendly paper, coloured with copics and then fussy cut.  I added them to die cut circles from my huge white snippets pile and also scalloped circles to match.  Glitter has been added to the stars, wings and their little horns.

SPRING OR SUMMER?

Morning Everyone,

It's time for a new challenge over at As You Like It and the theme is to showcase a project using your favourite of either Spring or Summer and to be in with a chance of a prize you must explain why it's your favourite.

Out of the two I definitely prefer Spring.  I love it when the garden starts to come alive again after looking so bare in the winter and all the birds are building their nests.  I'm not a hot weather person so Summer can be a bit too warm for me sometimes.

For my card I have used a Spring image from a LOTV art sheet and tried to find snippets of papers to match the colours.  I also used a punch for the first time in ages. It's terrible really I never use them nowadays they are just tucked away in a drawer.

HYDRANGEA KITTY

Afternoon Everyone,

Today I am sharing a card as Guest Designer for the Critter Crazy challenge where you must have an animal as the main focus.

I have used this cute image from Di's Digistamps and coloured with copics.  A fairly simple design with a Spellbinders die in white and the inner circle coloured around the edges to match the colour of the hydrangea. I managed to find a small piece of lilac in my snippets box to match also.
