STENCILLING

 Good Morning Everyone,

This is my reminder post for Christmas Craft Creations where the theme this month is Stencilling.

I have used a Simon Says Stamp stencil with texture paste and then added glitter while still wet.  A torn snippet of hammered cardstock was also glittered on the edge for the snow.  I coloured Jolly from Purple Onion Designs with copics, fussy cut him out and then added him with some foam tape.

Entries close on 8th February so there's still plenty of time to join in.

I want to try and enter the CAS Christmas challenge every month to get my Christmas cards stocked up.  A bit last minute with this one for the January challenge where the theme is Silver and Gold.

I have heat embossed the Woodware Festive Panel stamp randomly in silver and gold, cut out with a stitched rectangle and heat embossed the sentiment in gold.

FAVOURITE COLOURING MEDIUM

Good Morning Everyone,

It is the start of a new challenge over at As You Like It and we are asking you to tell us your favourite colouring medium and share a project using whatever it may be.

Out of all the different mediums I have tried I love my Copic markers.  I think it's because they're what I'm most familiar with.  I dabble with Zig markers, but Copics are my go to pens.  There are so many colours and they blend well.

I have chosen a Tracey Hey stamp set for my card.  It was a Christmas present to myself :).  This is quite a large stamp so I've had to use a 7"x 7" card this time.  Coloured with copics and the bunny has been coloured and fussy cut to enable me to position him correctly.  He has been added to the card with tape and I've added a little cotton bobtail.    The sentiment comes with the set.

SIMPLE START AT THE CUTIE PIES

 Good Morning Everyone,

It is time for the start of a new challenge over at the Cutie Pies and the first one is themed as Simple Starts, i.e. we would love to see your CAS projects featuring a cute image.

We have been kindly provided with images by the sponsor, Lee Holland, and I have used this adorable mouse with rose.  There just happens to be a 50% sale on at the moment too.  I have coloured him with copics and just added a silver embossed sentiment, which was a freebie from a magazine, and attached him to pink paper to match the rose.

I am a little late putting this on as hubby has been hogging the computer nearly all weekend with something that needed doing and I can't even comment on my phone for some reason even though I am logged into my account.

I would like to enter:

Thank you for visiting, I hope you like my make, and any comments you leave are very much appreciated.

JANUARY BLUES

Hello Everyone,

I hope you've had a good weekend.  My card today is made using Whimsy Stamps Wee Snippet and Mystic.

I have coloured them with copics and added glitter to the wings and horn.  I have used old LOTV papers in blues and also a LOTV sentiment in silver.  A glittery white ribbon has also been added.

FAVOURITE WAY TO DECORATE A GIFT

Good Morning Everyone,

It's the start of a new challenge at As You Like It and for this challenge we are asking you to show us your favourite way to decorate a gift.

When I give either of my daughters something like jewellery I like to put it into a pretty gift bag to make it look more special, much better than a tiny little square box.

I have covered a small gift bag, which is about 4.5" x just under 6" with pink card and cut a piece of Stampin Up specialty paper for each side.  I have decorated one side only with some pretty flowers, shiny leaves and silver beads.  The sentiment has been heat embossed in silver.  The curly ribbon just happened to be in the craft room and suited this perfectly, but I would normally just put tissue paper in the top.
