Good Morning Everyone,
This is my reminder post for the current challenge at Christmas Craft Creations where the theme is "Use Ribbon or Twine".
For my card I have used the cute Balancing Mouse from Gerda Steiner which I bought with a voucher I received for my birthday. I have coloured him and the bauble with copics and fussy cut them both. I created the little scene with a small piece of lilac paper and some snippets of white hammered card which I tore into small slopes. White glitter has been added to his hat and the slopes. The small tree is heat embossed in white and the sentiment in silver. After attaching the little mouse I added silver twine and a small sparkly.
I know by looking at photos you can't always tell how big a card is, but this is a small A6 size. When I first went to a craft show and saw some of the cards I'd seen on the internet, I was amazed at how small they were!
I would like to enter:
Crafty Catz - Winter Fun
Creative Inspirations - Animal Antics
Passion for Markers - Buttons and/or bows
Dream Valley - 4 legged friends
Pixie's Snippets Playground - the white hammered card and lilac background were snippets
I hope you like my little make and thank you for visiting. I'll be back tomorrow.

A great design. Love how he appears to be rolling downhill. Thanks for joining Passion for Markers. Elaine
ReplyDeleteIt's a very cute image and sweet card Lynn. I actually made one that size the other day as the flower was small and it just seemed to work.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first designed for an American company I was amazed how small most of their cards are, usually about that size in fact.

This is a very sweet and yet so very fun image. That mouse balancing on the bauble is just so sweet and you have made it up into a lovely scene.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking part in the first Rudolph Days Challenge of this year.
What a cute card Lynne! I do love the dear little mouse on the bauble!
ReplyDeleteYou say that Dudley is smaller than you imagined - yes,he's just a little fella and of course when being bathed or curled up asleep he looks tiny! Unless he's sprawled on his back of course - one of his favourite sleeping positions.
Hugs
