SNIPPETS TREES

Hello Everyone,

This is my card for Pixie's Snippets Playground.  I'd started making it before Christmas and had stuck the trees to a dark grey background.  Wasn't happy with it so it has been sat on my desk since then.

I decided to cut the trees out rather than waste them (that's why you can see a dark outline) and after placing them onto white card, I thought they looked a lot better, and carried on with the making of it yesterday.  I had originally been looking through my Christmas snippets box to see which papers would look ok with each other and came up with these.  I've attached them to hammered card, heat embossed the sentiment in silver and added liquid pearls here and there.  I've also added stickles in dots to the middle tree.

Not much crafting done here since Christmas, but I'm sure my mojo will come back soon, hopefully.

I would like to enter:

Pixie's Snippets #393 - Use snippets
Allsorts - Anything Goes
Dream Valley - Christmas
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper - Use patterned paper
Creatalicious #202 - Anything Goes

Have a good week and stay safe.

  4. Love the design Lynne and the papers go perfectly together. A great way of using those bits we all keep!!
Like you Lynne, I have good days and not so good days. Mojo went for a few weeks and I decided to try another craft. So I am now doing Needle Felting and really enjoying it. I haven't made a card since before Christmas but have my granddaughter's birthday on the 20th of this month so will have to make one!!
Take care and stay safe Lynne, big hugs, Carol S.xxx

  6. Hi Lynne

Great use of your snippets and all so well colour co-ordinated too.

I think it is always hard to "get going" again after Christmas .. .. .. which is why it is good if you have had some new stash as a present.

We are putting Christmas back into the roof tomorrow. We are really not ready to though.

    Have a good week.

    Love Jules xx
