Morning Everyone,
We have our first challenge starting over at As You Like It and we're asking you to share a project using your favourite paper brand.
I still love my old LOTV 8" paper pads. They all co-ordinate well and are much easier to use than 6" papers. I do have a lot of their snippets though hence my patchwork card. I've used a Textures die by Lou Collins for the white outlines and stuck that onto a piece of copy paper and then used snippets of three patterned papers to cut as many hexagons as I could. Then comes the placing of all the pieces to try and make sure I don't put the same patterns next to each other. Once they're all in place and I'm happy they all have to be glued in so it's not a quick process.
I've used my Clearly Besotted frame dies to surround the patchwork and an old Spellbinders sentiment die.
The challenge is just for fun this time so no sponsor.
