I am back with my DT card for the next challenge at As You Like It where we would like to see your favourite colour to go with Pink.
I have chosen grey. I think it looks so pretty and elegant and for my card I have used a floral image from The Ton called Sweet Bouquet and heat embossed it in silver. I have coloured it in various shades of pink and grey with my Zig clean colour brush pens, fussy cut it out and then added it to the Watercolour stripes die from Altenew. This is a rectangular die but is just the right height for a 6" square card so I managed to extend it widthways to fit the square.
Grey and pink papers were used underneath and I heat embossed the sentiment onto vellum in silver.

It's been way too hot again here and this morning hubby went down extra early (6.30)to let the dogs out so he could get them ready for a walk. We have a little water feature in the garden as he walked passed he saw a baby hedgehog floundering in the water! He said he only had his little snout out of the water and he could see his little legs paddling away. He could have been in there for hours and hubby said he looked exhausted. It was lucky he went outside early or I think we may have had a little body in the pond.
Anyway, this is him after he'd had some cat food and a little rest.

Loving the pink and grey Lynne, it gives a grown up look somehow. So pleased that Hubby rescued that poor little mite xx
ReplyDeleteHi Lynne
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card .. .. very beautiful. Pink and grey was very popular with the wedding couples too.
Thank goodness your hubby saw the cute little hedgehog.
We noticed one rambling around our garden a couple of weeks ago, and then saw one flattened on the road outside. We are hoping it wasn't our little garden visitor. It was super cute and we were surprised just how quickly it could move.
Hope your week has been a good one.
Love Jules xx
