I hope you've had a good week. When I saw the theme for the present Christmas Kickstart challenge was for Dogs, I thought I'd have a little play with this stamp which I haven't used before.
It's an old LOTV stamp and I've coloured him with copics in a similar colour to one of our little dogs, Charlie. I've used snippets of paper, both the red and the holly paper and a border die which I bought from someone on Facebook. The sentiment, which is from a MFT set, has been heat embossed in gold.
I had a change of mind with my layout and had to cut the card down a bit so the card is a small 5" x 4.5". After I'd stuck the top border to the white card I decided it was too deep so it had to be re-cut along the top to make it smaller, which looks a lot better I think. I then attached it to a snippet of red card and attached it all to the cut down card blank.

Brilliant card Lynne - wonderfully designed, everything goes so beautifully together. I do love the idea of the scalloped patterned paper at the top of the card - a lovely change from how I always seem to slap my images in the centre of cards. And that pup is just so, so cute - and amazing colouring as well. Love it!
