FAVOURITE ANIMAL?

 Morning Everyone,

We have a new challenge starting over at As You Like It and we would like to know your favourite animal whether it be real or fantasy.

I do like most animals but I have to say dogs are my favourite. We have 2 of them and they are so loving and loyal and great to have around.

For my card I have used a Di's digital stamp call Puppy Daisy.  I have coloured with copics and used kraft card for the mats and two dotty papers from the same pad.

The sponsor for the challenge is:

I hope you can join us with this easy theme and you can see the inspiration from the rest of the DT here.

I would like to enter:

CAS AT CHRISTMAS CRAFT CREATIONS

 Morning Everyone,

This is my reminder post for Christmas Craft Creations where the theme this month is CAS.

For my card I have used a Spellbinders die called More Holiday Decorations, which I bought in one of their sales a while ago.  I've used mirri card for the string and cut the lights from oddments of glitter card.  The sentiment is a mixture of two stamps from different companies.

I hope you will be able to join in. There are three lovely prizes on offer and you have until Tuesday, 12th September to enter so still plenty of time.

I would like to enter:

Corrosive Challenge - Anything Goes

Thank you for visiting and I will be back tomorrow.

STAMPS AND/OR STARS

Morning Everyone,

It is the start of a new challenge at the Cutie Pie challenge and the these is Stamps and/or stars.

This new theme gave me the opportunity to use my Caped Cuties from Clearly Besotted stamps again.   I made a similar card here and just had to use this backing paper again, which is from the Works, as I think it makes a great night sky.  Four of the little cuties have been stamped this time, coloured with copics, and fussy cut.  I've added a larger moon, glittered up my stars and heat embossed a sentiment from the same set.

I hope you will be able to join us and your can see the inspiration from the rest of the DT here.

I would like to enter:

Crafty Calendar - Anything Goes
Passion for Markers - Dies and/or punches (stars, moon, sentiment and scalloped border)
A Place to Start - Anything Goes

Thank you for your visit.  Take care and have a good week.

FAVOURITE 2 COLOUR COMBO AT AYLI

 Morning Everyone,

A new challenge starts today at As You Like It and we are asking to see your favourite 2 colour combo.

I have used green and yellow.  I thing it's such a fresh looking combination and always reminds me of Spring flowers.  We have kindly been provided images by the sponsor

and I have coloured this cute gnome with copics and just added 3 small die cut flowers and twine with kraft as the base.  The sentiment was computer generated and I've printed it in grey as I think black can look a bit too harsh sometimes.

I would like to enter:

Colourful Options - Yellow-Green
Crafty Calendar - Anything Goes

Thank you for your visit and have a good rest of the week.

BABY GIRL

 Morning Everyone,

This the card I made for my younger daughter's first baby. She had her by caesarian as baby had turned the wrong way, both doing well.  The interrupted sleep at night is a bit of a shock to her and her boyfriend, but everyone has to go through it and it will only get better eventually (hopefully)  :) .

When I saw the Bundle of Joy dies from Honey Bee Stamps on the Dies to Die For website I knew I wanted to have a play.  I had a big search through my snippets to find patterns small enough for baby clothes and this is what I came up with.  I think they are all from LOTV pads apart from the pink set of trousers on the left.  The coat hangers and hooks were cut 3 times and glued together for strength. I coloured the bindings on the two pieces on the right with copics and the white frills on the green piece with a white paint pen.

The Congrats die is from Creative Expressions and the smaller piece underneath was created on the computer.

Photo of snippets, some before cutting and some after.  The lilac one was an afterthought so not in the photo.

I would like to enter:

Allsorts - Anything but square
Snippets Playground - all the dies were from snippets
Crafty Calendar - Anything Goes
Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
Lets Craft and Create - Add dots or Stripes

Thank you for visiting and I hope you have a good week.

FLORAL OR GINGHAM?

 Morning Everyone,

We have a new challenge starting at As You Like It and we are asking you whether you prefer to use florals or gingham on your projects.  For me it is definitely floral.  I do use gingham now and again, but I have so many pretty floral papers and the majority of my cards are sent to the female gender so they are much more suitable for my needs.

For my card I have used papers from a First Edition pad and a LOTV image called Big Bouquet which has been coloured with copics.  I wanted something different from Happy Birthday for my sentiment and found this little apt one on a Simon Says set.

The sponsor for the challenge is:

with a voucher for the lucky winner.

I would like to enter:

The Corrosive challenge - Anything Goes
Simon Says Weds - Anything Goes
Stamping Sensations - Summer Flowers/Anything Goes
PIP challenge 2329 - Anything Goes
Passion for Markers - Summer in Full bloom

We look forward to seeing your entries and you can pop over to the challenge here to see the lovely inspiration from the rest of the team.

Thank you for visiting and have a good day.
