FAVOURITE NON CARD PROJECT

Morning Everyone,

It is time for a new challenge at As You Like It  and this time we would like to see your favourite non-card projects.

I have made some fun Christmas  pom pom tags for the younger members of the family.  I always seem to run out of tags and end up making some in a hurry, so I thought I would get ahead of the game this year.  I got the pom pom idea from Pinterest and after searching through my scraps of Christmas papers I found some with suitably small patterns.

They are made by die cutting an oval in white card then cutting it down the middle and fastening the two halves together at the top with a small strip.  Patterned paper was cut with the same oval and glued on.    Turn up cuffs were made by stamping the same sentiment, either in red or by heat embossing in white, and cutting them into small rectangles and adding to the bottom of the hat.  I made small pom poms in colours to match each tag and glued them on together with twine.  The insides of the tags have been left blank for my own message.

The sponsor for the challenge is:

I would like to enter:

Pixie's Snippets Playground - all patterned papers were snippets
Simon Says Weds - Lets Get Into Shape
PIP Challenge 2427 - Anything Goes

Thank you for visiting and have a good weekend when it arrives.
