Hello Everyone,
A very wet day here today. I managed to take the dogs for a walk before it started so I think that will be it for today. They don't like the wet weather.
This is a card made for my older brother and was inspired by one I saw in a magazine a few years ago. I have used the Woodware stamp 'Wearing it Well' stamped in black and heat embossed with clear powder. I stamped the shoes and hat again and fussy cut them out so I could stick the die cut sentiment underneath.
Edges were lightly inked before distressing with a Tim Holtz tool and brown enamel dots added. I don't make many masculine cards, but do like to send him one as he always seems to appreciate it.

That's a great vintage inspired card Lynne and I am most impressed that it's for a gent too. A design that I have pinned and can look up when I am short on male card inspiration!! Thank you for sharing it with Allsorts. The wet weather is heading for us tonight, no such luck that our two doggos won't want to go out. Looks like we might get drenched in the morning on our hike!! xx
ReplyDeleteFabulous masculine card and love the stamp,me and our daughter got a few things cleared in the garden yesterday and she cut the grasses,as John keeps stressing it needed doing-the rain started her mid-day and really cold too
