Morning Everyone,
Today sees the start of a new challenge over at As You Like It where the theme is "Cute or Elegant?".
Morning Everyone,
A new challenge starts over at Allsorts today and the theme apart from the Anything Goes option is Trees/ Leaves/Plants so it can be any one, two or all of these.

Morning Everyone,
Today is te start of a new challenge over at As You Like It and we are asking for a project showing your favourite way to emboss (wet/dry).
I use heat embossing more, especially for sentiments, as I think it makes them look a bit more special. For this card I have heat embossed the sentiment, which is from Simon Says Stamp, in silver, used a Stampin Up Blooming Heart die and a double stitched square die to cut it all out. Pearls and clear gems, which look like little black dots in the photo, have finished it off.

Morning Everyone,
This is a card I've had in my drafts for a few weeks. Not the sort of card you like to make but I felt as though I had to as the person who would read it does like to receive my cards.
I was short of ideas at the time so had a browse through Pinterest and this is what I came up with.Morning Everyone,
This is my reminder post for Christmas Craft Creations where the theme is 'Designer Paper'.
I thought this was an ideal time to use some of my Stampin Up specialty paper which is see through and the flowers have a felty feel to them. I layered it onto some green card and then a silver mirri stitched surround. A die cut Spellbinders poinsettia in white has been glued together and sparkle added to it by way of white glitter. I also used silver mirri for the leaves, heat embossed a sentiment and cut that out with a stitched banner. Silver ribbon finished it off.
There are two prizes on offer and the closing date is Tuesday, 9th April so still plenty of time to enter.

Morning All,
A quick card here using some more of my Stampin Up specialty paper layered onto a piece of lilac paper, my favourite colour, and with enamel dots and sparkly gems added. The paper does have a slight pattern to it, but not visible very well in the photo.

Hello Everyone,
When I saw that a couple of challenges were asking for die cuts on their entries it inspired me to finish off two half made cards that had been sat on my desk for a while. I don't know if anyone else starts a card and then goes onto something else, but it seems to be one of my bad habits.
This is my card and the dies are from Stampin Up, called Many Layered Blossoms. I'd seen quite a few in different colours on Pinterest so thought I'd give it a go. Not as easy as I thought it would be. I coloured it all with my Prismacolor markers, but you have to be careful to get the colours underneath in the right place so they don't overlap when you add the top die. A few sequins and a gold embossed sentiment finish it off.

Morning Everyone,
Today is the start of a new challenge over at As You Like It and we are asking to see your favourite non' birthday projects.
Good Morning Everyone,
It is the start of a new challenge over at As You Like It and we are asking for your favourite image or animal for Christmas cards.
Good Morning Everyone,
This is my reminder post for Christmas Craft Creations where the theme this month is "White on White".
For my DT card I have used a Spellbinders poinsettia die cut with snippets in white (of which I have a drawer full), foliage from a Sizzix Tim Holtz set and a Merry Christmas die. I have edged the poinsettia leaves in glitter and added pearls here and there. For the bottom half of the card I have used some Stampin Up speciality paper which is raised and has a velvety feel. The vellum backing of the paper makes it look a little dark, but it is quite white in real life. The two halves of the card are divided by white ribbon.
Remember, you must display this logo to be eligible for the prize draw, which this month is a paper pad and matching stamp.Morning Everyone,
There is a new challenge starting over at As You Like It and we are asking you to showcase a project using your favourite of either Metallic or Glitter card stock.
Good Morning Everyone,
This is my reminder post for Christmas Craft Creations where the theme this month is Trees.
I've had this Stampin Up Set "Festival of Trees" for about 5 years now and never used it so I thought I'd have a play with it in different colours. I've used 3 Distress Oxides and the garland on the pink tree has been heat embossed in silver as has the sentiment. A simple, fun and flat card for posting.
Hello Again,
Another card to enter into the Allsorts 13th Birthday celebrations. This is a Stampin Up Die which I cut into the stitched square and then used distress inks with sponge daubers to colour in the flowers and leaves.
Good Morning Everyone,
This is a card I've made with my fairly new Stampin Up stamps and dies called Artistically Inked.
The flowers and leaves are the layering type and have been stamped in 2 shades of yellow and green and cut out with their dies. The smaller leaves are gold as is the strip of tape, but they look black in the photo. I've added a few splatters of gold paint and the sentiment from the set is heat embossed in gold.
I'm not overly happy with the final outcome, but it's only my first attempt at playing with the set so hopefully will improve in time.

Good Morning Everyone,
Today is the start of a new challenge at As You Like It where we are asking you to show us a project using your favourite primary colour.
Morning Everyone,
A quick post to share a CAS Christmas card. I'm really trying to make my Christmas cards more cas and flat for posting this year.
Good Morning Everyone,
Thank you for your comments on my last post. My little pooch has an ulcer on his eye and we have to keep putting drops in. Hopefully it will clear it up, but if not, another visit to the vets it will be.
I've made a cas Christmas card following the prompt from the CAS Christmas challenge which is "Snowman".
