FAVOURITE SKETCH?

 Morning Everyone,

A bit late with my post today.  I've had to do this on my laptop this morning and it always takes me longer as I'm not used to using it.

Today is the start of a new challenge over at As You Like It and we're asking for your favourite sketch.

I don't very often look at sketches but this is the layout I use when I have a bout of brain fog and stuck for an idea.  It uses up some of my patterned paper of which I have way too much!

For this card I've used a LOTV floral wreath and coloured with copics.  The sentiment comes with the image and the papers are a digi download from ages ago from Nitwit collections (I think so anyway).

The sponsor for the challenge is:

If you pop over to the challenge you'll be able to see the inspiration from the rest of the DT.

I would like to enter:

We Love Stamping- Anything Goes
Simon Says Weds - Use Patterned Paper

Thank you for visiting and hope to be back soon.

Morning Everyone,

I am a Guest Designer today over at the Rabisco challenge where the theme is Anything Goes.

I have used an image kindly provided by the sponsors, StarStampz called My Sweet Sunflower.  I have coloured her with copics and used papers from stash.  The die I've cut her out with is from The Works and sentiment from LOTV.

SOFT OR BOLD COLOURS?

 Morning Everyone,

It's time for the start of a new challenge over at As You Like It and we are asking whether you prefer soft or bold colours on your projects.

When I make floral cards I like them to be bold, especially when they're against a white background. The white enhances the colours and makes them stand out more.

I love pansies and all their different colours. I've cut my dies with white card and coloured with a mixture of Altenew inks and Distress Oxides.  The leaves were cut from green cardstock and shaded with copics.  The arch die is from Spellbinders and the sentiment is a small Creative Expressions one cut in gold mirri card.

We don't have a sponsor for this fortnight so just playing for fun.

I would like to enter:

Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
A Place to Start - Add one or more flowers
Beautiful Blossoms - A/G Floral
Simon Says Weds - Feminine
Paper Fundays - Flower Shoppe
Double D - Pretty Florals for Mum

Thank you for visiting and I will be back soon.
