FAVE PERSON TO MAKE FOR

 Morning Everyone,

A little late with my post for our new challenge starting at As You Like It and we are asking who is your favourite person to make for at Christmas.

This year for me it is my grandson.  It's the first year that he is more aware of it and he's already been to see Santa.  They are at Center Parcs this weekend so I'm sure he'll be seeing him again.

I've chosen an All Dressed Up image to use for him as he loves dinosaurs.  I have coloured with copics and added glitter to the snow and his hat. The background paper was from an old magazine and I've added snow by way of a stencil and paste.  There's also a bit of snow on the white rectangle, but it's not very visible.

ADD A HAT

 Morning Everyone,

This is my reminder post for Christmas Craft Creations where the theme this months is 'Add a Hat'.

For my card I have used a Conie Fong image coloured with copics and with added glitter to his hat and glossy accents to the berries.  Small snowflakes, pearls and the sentiment finish it off.  A fairly simple card but I am happy with how it has turned out.

There are 3 prizes on offer and there is still plenty of time to enter as closing date is Tuesday 12th December.

I would like to enter:

Allsorts - Christmas Time
Crafty Calendar - Anything Goes
Stamping Sensations - Get Ready for Christmas

Rabisco - Anything Goes

Thank you for visiting and I will be back soon.

FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS ANIMAL?

 Hello Everyone,

A new challenge starts at As You Like It today and we are asking you to share your favourite Christmas critter.

I have chosen Reindeer, especially one with a red nose, as it wouldn't be Christmas without Rudolph would it?

For my card I have used a MFT sentiment die and added reindeer from Mama Elephant, which have been stamped, coloured with copics and die cut.  The two little ornaments and bird are also from the same set.  I used a snippet of striped paper and it was a tad short for the 5"x7" card so the card had to be cut down slightly for it to look right.

CHRISTMAS COLOURS

Morning Everyone,

A new challenge starts today at As You Like It and we are asking for your favourite of either traditional or modern Christmas colours.

I do like both really, but it's a nice change to make something in a modern colour. Lilacs and purples are my favourite shades and I think it looks really pretty with silver.  I have used a Memory Box Pine Tree border die in silver mirri card and filled in with a snippet of lilac from a LOTV Christmas pad.  I think the heat embossed sentiment is also LOTV and the ric rac (is that what you call it?) from MFT.  I've added clear sparkle dots although they haven't photographed very well.
