CREATE A SCENE

Morning Everyone,

We have a new challenge today at Allsorts where the theme, alongside Anything Goes, is Create a Scene as chosen by Lynn.

For my card I have used a Creative Expressions die set called Christmas Village.  I die cut a circle in the middle of my stitched square and then added a piece of green snowy looking paper to the back of the circle.  I tore a piece of white card for the snow, added the sentiment which is from a Spellbinders set and arranged all the little elements to create a scene. A few little pearls were added for embellishment.

There are two prizes of Lavinia, one a collection of mini/small stamps with bottle sticker for scene making and three stamps as second prize.

I hope you can join us in the challenge.  I know it's a busy time for everyone at the moment, but the challenge closes on 31st December so there will be time after the big day to have a play.  I know I always look forward to the week after Christmas as it is relatively quiet and I can have a play in the craft room.  I I try to make my DT cards in advance and I'm so pleased I have this past week as I haven't had chance to do anything in there lately.

This will be my last post before Christmas so I would like to wish you all a Happy Christmas and thank you for visiting and all your lovely comments throughout the year.

  7. A fantastic winter village card. Lots of die cutting and no doubt lots of patience required - but it’s a stunner.
Wishing you a very Happy Christmas xxx
