THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN

 Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you've had a good weekend.  I don't know about anyone else, but all the days seem the same to me at the moment.

I'm here as it's the start of a new challenge over at The Cutie Pies and the theme is "The Boys are Back in Town" so as long as it's cute and boyish it'll be good.

I've made a card for my Grandson whose birthday is next month.  He's always playing on his games so I thought this image from Polkadoodles was very apt.  The card is larger than I would normally make, a C5 I think.  I have used lots of snippets from a Doodlebug pad on this one. The stripe in the middle was only about 3" long so I had to cut it in half to fit behind the image.  I've used star dies, a sentiment die and the little dots I made by cutting two small circles, embossing them and then adding glossy accents.

I hope you can join us for this first challenge of the year and we look forward to seeing your entries.

  6. What a fun card, I'm sure he'll love it, my grandson certainly would. Clever idea to cut the paper to make it look as if it covers the full width of the card.
