103 YEARS YOUNG

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope everyone is well.  It's over a week since I posted anything and I've had a look through my drafts and thought I'd better share this card which I made last year.

It was for a lady who was lonely in lockdown and her daughter asked on a local Facebook page for people to send her a card to cheer her up.  I made this quite quickly as it was from an old LOTV art pad, so no colouring, and also with LOTV retired papers.  I've also seen a few weeks ago that she has had her 104th birthday too but there wasn't a request this time.

I've just been watching the ladies cycling in the Olympics.  I haven't watched much of them at all this year, but I thought they were brilliant and Laura Kenny missing her little boy made me well up a bit.  My daughter is expecting a baby and is nearly two weeks overdue so very imminent and exciting!

Thank you for visiting and whatever you will be doing, have a good weekend.

  3. It's lovely Lynne and what a fabulous milestone for the lady.

Our athletes really have done well in the Olympics, I've not had chance to watch too much but enjoyed the catch ups. Must be time for the baby boom, I have a friends who's DIL is overdue and our eldest Granddaughter is due next week.

  6. A beautiful card Lynne, a pretty topper and lovely papers.
It must be hard for the athletes being unable to take their families this year, I hope your new grandchild arrives soon, your daughter must be getting a little fed up!
