Hi there,
Which one is it, upcycled or recycled? Whichever it is that is what I have done with this card, made from one received last Christmas.
A quick one to enter into the April Rudolph Days challenge. I cut the image out with a stitched die and layered it onto gold mirri card and two strips of paper from my Christmas snippets box. The background of the card is embossed and so are the reindeer and I thought it was a good one to keep for such an occasion.
I would like to enter this into these challenges:
Rudolph Days April Challenge - Anything Christmas
Simon Says Stamp Weds - Anything Goes
Crafting by Designs - April Get Ready for Christmas
A quick post today. Thank you for visiting and hope you have a good week.

Upcycled I would say. Whatever it's adorable. [Bunny]`
ReplyDeleteThis is really cute. Loving those cute reindeer!
ReplyDeleteI think it is special when we card makers manage to upcycle a card. Shame to see a cute image en up in a landfill when we could all enjoy it one more time!!!
Thanks for taking part in the April Rudolph Days Challenge.
A fabulous upcycled card - love the cute reindeer.

Beautiful re-cycled card love the fun images x
ReplyDeleteEither way, it's a fun romping humorous card for Rudolph Day, Lynne, and I love it! I'm glad you gave it new life! For what it's worth, I always thought recycled meant your card was made from some other material, like a cereal box or something, and upcycled meant you took an existing card and remodeled it to make it your own design. If you hear from someone else that that's wrong, please let me know! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteIt would have been a shame to not use this image Lynne. You have ended up with a gorgeous card. I would think it's upcycled but whatever it is, better than putting it in a bin. Hugs, Carol S.xx
