Morning Everyone,
It's the start of a new challenge at As You Like It and we are asking whether you prefer to make feminine or masculine projects and don't forget to say why please.
Morning Everyone,
Today is the start of a new challenge at Allsorts where the optional theme, as chosen by Liz, is 'Shades of Blue' and there is always 'Anything Goes'.
For my card I have used a Spellbinders dancing dragon die in turquoise and blue. I've used snippets of various shades of blue, but have forgotten to take a photo of them. The background paper is from a pad from the Works and I have used a sentiment from a MFT stamp set.
Morning Everyone,
It is time for a new challenge over at As You Like It where we are asking whether you prefer to use stamped or digi images.
Morning Everyone,
A new challenge starts today over at Allsorts where the theme, as chosen by Gail, is Romance with the option of Musical notes/instruments and there is of course always the Anything Goes route too.
Morning Everyone,
I have been having a play with die cut flowers again. These are from three different Hero Arts
sets, Envelope and Bouquet Accessories and Bees and Flowers fancy dies. I have cut some with coloured papers and some with white card and coloured with copics. I have coloured with colours for the colour challenge at Seven Hill Crafts and these include red, orange, purple, green and some browns.
The embossing folder is from Spellbinders and the sentiment is from an MFT set and has been heat embossed in white.

Morning Everyone,
Today is the start of a new challenge at As You Like It and we are asking whether you prefer pearls or gems on your projects.
I do like both, but tend to use pearls a lot more. They are elegant and always seem to suit my cards more than gems. For my DT card I have used dies from Honey Bee stamps call Sweetheart Roses. They were one of my impulse buys a while ago from Dies to Die For and I've had them made up but not put them on a card until now. I am a terrible impulse buyer and am going to try and stop this year and use a few of the items in my NBUS basket.
Morning Everyone,
It's the start of a new challenge over at Allsorts this morning with a theme of "Back to Nature", which involves so much such as trees, flowers, animals, birds and scenery to name but a few. There is also the Anything Goes option.
Morning Everyone,
I hope you've had a good weekend. Too cold for me to be doing much but I think it's going to warm up a bit this week. I am sharing a card made over the weekend with a digi stamp from LOTV.
I have coloured the cute image with copics and cut the image out with a stitched rectangle. After a search through my papers I settled for a yellow and green plaid, which I think is from MFT, and a blue ribbon.
A very simple layout, but I do like how it has turned out. I have used the rubber stamp of this image before, but I wanted it to be a bit larger this time so used the digi instead.

Morning Everyone,
We have our first challenge starting over at As You Like It and we're asking you to share a project using your favourite paper brand.
I still love my old LOTV 8" paper pads. They all co-ordinate well and are much easier to use than 6" papers. I do have a lot of their snippets though hence my patchwork card. I've used a Textures die by Lou Collins for the white outlines and stuck that onto a piece of copy paper and then used snippets of three patterned papers to cut as many hexagons as I could. Then comes the placing of all the pieces to try and make sure I don't put the same patterns next to each other. Once they're all in place and I'm happy they all have to be glued in so it's not a quick process.
I've used my Clearly Besotted frame dies to surround the patchwork and an old Spellbinders sentiment die.
The challenge is just for fun this time so no sponsor.
