HUMOUR AT CHRISTMAS CRAFT CREATIONS

 Good Morning Everyone,

This is my reminder post for Christmas Craft Creations where the theme is Humour.

This gave me the opportunity to stamp up part of my unused Hobby Art set which I've had for a long time.  I fussy cut the hat to add to the sprout and coloured all with copics.  The banners at the bottom were from snippets.  

April is the 3rd birthday of the challenge so there are various prizes on offer and Tuesday 9th May is the final day so still plenty of time to enter.

PENNY BLACK MICE

Morning Everyone,

Had a little play over the weekend.  This is probably one of my favourite Penny Black stamps with these two cute little mice. 

I have coloured them with copics and used papers from a First Edition pad.  The yellow pearls look too bright in the photo, but a lot nicer in real life.

FAVOURITE FLOWERS

Morning Everyone,

It's the start of a new challenge over at As You Like It and we would like to see projects containing your favourite flower.

I like all flowers in the garden, but fuchsias are an old favourite.  I think I must have caught that from my Mum as she used to like them too.  I love them in hanging baskets when you can see their beautiful colours more clearly.

For my card I have used an image from a Hunkydory floral pad, a random piece of paper to match the colours and an old pre-printed sentiment from stash.   The mini scalloped edgers are MFT and it has all be added to a scalloped card for a bit more interest as the topper itself is quite simple.

BUNNIES & BLOOMS

 Morning Everyone,

A little late, but we have a new challenge starting over at the Cutie Pie challenge where the theme is Bunnies & Blooms.

I have used an old image from Digistamp Boutique and coloured him with copics.  I have hand stitched the layers and slightly distressed the edges.

PEARLS OR GEMS?

Morning Everyone,

Today is the start of a new challenge over at As You Like It where we are asking you to showcase a project using your favourite of either pearls or gems.

I do love both and usually choose whichever looks best on my card at the time and for this one I have used clear gems.  I have stamped and coloured with copics an image from Penny Black called Elegance in Motion.  The die and the sentiment are also from PB.

HAPPY EASTER

Morning Everyone,

I was asked recently to make a few Easter cards for a stall at a monthly market and this is one I came up with.

I have used an image from LOTV, coloured it with copics and added 2 little fluffy balls to make the bunny's tail.  The scalloped dies are from Sizzix and the circle die from Craft Consortium.
