CHRISTMAS WITH THE CUTIES - ANYTHING GOES

Morning Everyone,

I hope you've had a good weekend, kept warm and hopefully had some time to craft.

We're back with a new challenge at Christmas with the Cuties and the challenge is a nice and easy one as it's Anything Goes, that is as long as it's cute and Christmas projects only.

For my card I've used a cute stamp from Whimsy stamps, which I coloured with copics, I just love these bunnies.  I've used various First Edition christmas paper and kraft card.  There's not much else to say about it really apart from glossy accents being added to the holly berries and a few pearls in the  corner.  I'm trying to keep some of my cards fairly flat at the moment for posting purposes so resisted adding anything else.

The lucky winner will receive a prize from this month's sponsor Crafty Ribbons.

I hope you will be able to join us in the challenge and if you'd like to pop over here you'll be able to see the inspiration from the rest of the team.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Rudolph Days Feb Challenge - Anything Christmas
Allsorts - I Spy Something Beginning with B - Bunnies
Fab n Funky - Christmas
Winter Wonderland - Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday - Cute Critters
Deep Ocean Challenge - Cute and Cuddly

I hope you have a good week and don't get too much snow.

SPRING BIRTHDAY

Morning Everyone,

I hope you are well.  It's a lovely sunny morning here, but still quite cold.

I'm sharing this JFF card today as I was in need of a few flattish birthday cards and this is one of them.

I was lucky enough to win some Bugaboo images a week or so ago and this is one I picked. I've coloured the image in copics and made a fairly simple card with yellow cardstock and ribbon to match the tulip.  The white card is of the hammered variety to give it a bit more interest and the sentiment is from Kaisercraft.  Not my normal style I must admit, but I was pleased with how it turned out. I've also used stitched edge dies to cut everything out, but you can't see it very well in the photo.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

A Gem of a Challenge - Spring Flowers
Southern Girls - Nature
Dragonfly Dreams - Flowers
Bizzy Becs Store - Anything Goes
The Sketchy Challenges - Anything Goes
Penny Paper Crafty 368 - Anything Goes

Thank you for visiting and hopefully you will find time to leave a comment, I do appreciate it and love to read them.

See you soon,

Lynne x

AYLI DT - FAVE WAY TO ADD A SENTIMENT

Morning Everyone,

It is time for the next challenge over at As You Like It and for this fortnight we would like you to showcase a project showing your favourite way to add a sentiment (and please don't forget to say why  as it won't be eligible for a prize or top 3 spot).

I've failed miserably in my efforts to try and not buy any more stamps/images as I have been tempted to a few just lately.  This one is from Di's Digistamps which I have coloured with copics.  I tried to colour it with my new pencils, but struggled to find a blue that suited.

More often than not when I'm making a card I don't think about the sentiment until the end and struggle with where to put one, so my most favourite way then is to use these little tags under a bow.  These are from Mama Elephant, but I also use the LOTV ones quite a lot too.

I've used a Crealies mini scalloped square and ribbon and pearls finish it off.

If you'd like to pop over to the challenge here you'll be able to see the inspiration from the rest of the team.

The sponsor for this fortnight is

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Stamping Sensations - Anything with Flowers
The Sketchy Challenges -  Anything Goes
Little Miss Muffet 182 - Anything Goes
Noor Design February - Celebrations
Creative Moments - Anything Goes

Thank you for finding the time to visit and I hope you can leave a comment as I do love to read them.

Have a good weekend,

SPARKLES CHRISTMAS DT - OUTDOOR FUN

Morning Everyone,

I'm back for my second post of the day and as it's the first of the month it is time for another challenge over at Sparkles Christmas challenge and the theme for this month, as chosen by Cheryl,  is Outdoor Fun.

For my card I've used these cute mice from the Penny Black Winter Wonderland clear stamp set.

I've coloured them with copics and created a little scene with a Wild Rose Studio die and Lawn Fawn stitched hillside border die.  The scrap of blue paper was a freebie in a magazine and I've used embossing paste with a falling snow stencil from Simon Says.  The sentiment is from a LOTV set and I've extended my square scalloped dies again to make a rectangle for the base.  Glitter and stickles have also been added.

So if you'd like to join in with the challenge here you'll be able to see the inspiration from the rest of the team, but remember it must be Christmas themed.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Addicted to Stamps - Baby It's Cold Outside
The Colour Crazy Challenge - Anything Goes
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge - Anything Goes
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Anything Goes
Deep Ocean Challenge - Let It Snow
Di's Digi Designs - Winter

Thank you for visiting and I hope you have time to leave a comment.  I do love to read them.

Have a good weekend,

Lynne x

AYLI DT - REAL OR FAUX STITCHING?

Morning Everyone,

It's time for another challenge at As You Like It and the theme for this fortnight is to showcase a project containing your favourite stitching - real or faux (and don't forget to tell us why it's your favourite).

For me it depends on the style of the card as I do like real stitching on shabby chic styles, but because I use it the most my favourite is faux.  When I do real stitching I can't seem to get it very straight and doesn't look neat.

For my card I've used a pre-coloured image from LOTV and my Crealies stitched square dies.  The numbers are cut from a Marianne Design die and sorry I can't remember the make of the star dies. The alphabet stamp set is one I received for Christmas.  It's a Hobby Art one and is a bit grungy looking, just in case you thought it was the way I'd stamped it :) .

The sponsor for the challenge is

with a prize of 3 digi images for the lucky winner

If you'd like to pop over to the challenge here you'll be able to see the inspiration from the rest of the team, some using the sponsor's images.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Crafty Creations - Anything Goes
The Paper Shelter - Birthday
Simon Says Weds Challenge - Anything Goes
Creatalicious - Anything Goes

Thank you for visiting and I always love to read your comments.

Have a good weekend,
