JINGLE ALL THE WAY

A quick card for a last minute entry into the Christmas Kickstart challenge where the theme is Gnomes.

I have used snippet strips from a Doodlebug pad for the bottom of the card and die cut the L'il Gnome from Simon Says Stamp, also with snippets.  The sentiment is heat embossed in red and I've added small red pearls for a bit of decoration.

FAVE SKETCH OR LAYOUT

 Morning Everyone,

Back again with the start of a new challenge over at As You Like It where we are asking to see your favourite sketch or layout.

I don't really follow any particular sketches, but when I'm stuck for an idea, this seems to be my "go to" layout so I suppose it must be my favourite.  

For a quick card I have used an old image from an art pad from LOTV cut with a Tattered Lace die.  The papers are also old LOTV and the sentiment is from Kaisercraft.  A really quick and easy card, which uses up a little bit of my mountain of patterned papers.

TARTAN OR PLAID

Morning Everyone,

I'm back with a reminder post for Christmas Craft Creations where the theme is use Tartan/Plaid. 

For my card I have used a Woodware stamp coloured with copics, apart from the paper piecing of the heart and stocking.  I've added glossy accents to the berries, raindrops from Lucy's Little Things to the strings and glitter to the stocking.

It is the 2nd birthday of the challenge and there are 3 lovely prizes to be won.

NEW HOME

 Morning Everyone,

This is a new home card I made with a Stamping Bella image.  

I have coloured with copics and added a pearl heart and pretty ribbon. I'm not sure where the paper came from as I made this a while ago, but I thought the colours went well with that of the image. The sentiment comes with the stamp.

MASCULINE BIRTHDAY

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you've had a good Easter weekend.  A fairly quiet one for us but the weather has been lovely so I've made a start on sorting the garden.

This is a card I've made for my daughter's fiancé.  He recently took her on a mystery holiday for her birthday,  which was in Portugal and, while they were there, he proposed so I can call him fiancé now instead of boyfriend.

I've distressed the edges of the lovely papers from a Maja Design pad, Denim & Friends, and added die cut stars, twine and 2 metal embellishments.

FLORAL OR CUTE?

Good Morning Everyone,

It is time for the start of a new challenge over at As You Like It and we are asking whether you prefer using Floral or Cute images on your projects.

I love both and often send cute cards when appropriate, but I have to say I love colouring floral images best, especially with my Zig markers.  They can appeal to a wide range of ages too.

For this card I have used Altenew Precious Peony stamps heat embossed in silver and coloured with Zigs.  I thought I'd try some different colours this time,  They've turned out brighter that I thought, but I quite like it.  The flowers have been cut out with their respective dies and I've added them to a Clearly Besotted frame die and a Spellbinders lattice die.  The congrats sentiment is from The Greetery.

BUNNIES AND BLOOMS

Good Morning Everyone,

For my card I've used a LOTV image, coloured with copics,  and a die cut daisy from MFT to match the image.  My mojo was lacking a bit when I was making this and I wasn't really feeling it, but I finished in the end.  I do love the look on his little face though.
