DELICATE BLOSSOMS

Good Morning Everyone,

Thank you for all the lovely comments from my last post.

This is a quick one to join in the Allsorts 12th Birthday celebrations.  I have made an attempt at no line colouring with Ink on 3 ink and Zig markers, not perfect, just need a bit more practice.

I have used a Hero Arts Delicate Blossoms stamp coloured in orange and red with an gold embossed sentiment from LOTV and added a few sparkly dots.

I would like to enter:

TAGS or ATCs

Morning Everyone,

This is my reminder post for Christmas Craft Creations where the theme this month is Tags or ATCs.

I have used my Marianne Design tag die again on snippets of white card and stamped with images from Penny Black's 12 days of Christmas.  I have coloured them with pencils and added the red toppers, also from snippets, and a small amount of ribbon.  I hope you can join us and I have donated the prize this month which is this tag:

MORE FOLIAGE & BERRIES

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you've had a good weekend, despite the inclement weather here in the U.K. at the moment.

When I saw the sketch challenge at Less is More I thought it was a good opportunity to use up some of the heat embossing that I had to discard when making this card.  Needless to say this is a good part of the discarded piece.

I followed the sketch at Less is More and used gold pearlised card for the mats.  The sentiment, from LOTV, is stamped in gold metallic and I've added a touch of red to match the leaves and berries.  They have both been added to ivory cardstock cut with a stitched rectangle.

I will also add this to the CAS Christmas challenge as it still follows the theme.

Challenges:

Less is More - Sketch
CAS Christmas - Foliage and berries

I hope you have a good week.  The sun is shining here at the moment, but rain threatens later.

FAVOURITE COLOURING MEDIUM AT AYLI

 Good Morning Everyone,

It is the start of a new challenge over at As You Like It and we would like to see a project featuring your favourite colouring medium (and don't forget to tell us why it's your favourite please).

When I started colouring I used copics, mainly because I knew someone who used them and had said how good they were.  I love that they are refillable, blend well and have a good variety of colours. I often have a little play with Zigs, but copics are my main "go to" markers.

For my DT card I have used the Hello Lovely stamp from Concord & 9th.  After colouring with my copics I have used a stitched rectangle and mini scalloped die and a spotty piece of purple paper from my snippets box. I have added a few raindrops and the sentiment is from LOTV.

The sponsor for the challenge is:

CAS FOLIAGE & BERRIES

 Good Morning Everyone,

I've decided I'd like to make a few CAS Christmas cards this year and, after seeing the challenge at the CAS Christmas challenge, this is what I've come up with.

I tried to heat emboss this Winterberry stamp from Pink Fresh Studio onto some textured ivory card but it didn't go too well so I've turned the card over on the smoother side to heat emboss in gold and then I've coloured the berries with red marker pens.   I have a few off cuts from the pieces that didn't work very well so I will probably make a few more with them.  I have matted onto gold mirri card and stamped the sentiment with gold metallic ink.

GORGEOUS GINGHAM & PERFECT PLAID

 Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you've had an enjoyable weekend.  Today is the start of a new challenge at The Cutie Pies where we are looking for your cute projects using Gorgeous Gingham & Perfect Plaid (either or both).

For my card I have used a cute image provided by the sponsors, which can be found here:

I have coloured him with copics and fussy cut (a bit fiddly round the flower) and used snippets of lilac gingham .  I have printed the sentiment on the computer and layered up with purple card. My scalloped die is from Spellbinders.

I would like to enter:

Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes
PIP Challenge 2119 - Anything Goes
Pixies Snippets Playground - Snippets were the gingham and sentiment

FAVOURITE WAY TO ADD RIBBON

 Good Morning Everyone,

It's time for a new challenge at As You Like It and we would like to see your favourite way of adding ribbon to your projects.

Looking back I've realised I don't use ribbon as much as I used to.  I do dislike how the post office gauge letters by thickness so even a small bow can make cards go as a large letter.  If I do add ribbon, and it is to be posted, then I often add a flat strip with double sided tape.  I'm not saying I never use bows and I'm not really mean, it just annoys me as when it used to be by weight alone, it was a lot better.

My DT card is a little different to normal.  I've had this sentiment die from Whimsy stamps for quite a while and never used it.  It often looks too big next to an image so I decided to use it with my Delicate Flower Bed stamp from Altenew which I stamped with Pistachio Pudding from Stampin Up.  I've used gingham paper for the backing, ribbon and a few gems.  The green gems are showing up really bright with the light, but they are in fact the same colour as the ink.

CONIE FONG GUEST DT TAKE 4

 Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you have had a good weekend.  This is my last Guest DT card for Conie Fong and I have used the cute Sunshine Gnome which can be found here.

There are 5 images in total in the set and I have coloured this one with copics.  I decided to use a cloud embossing folder (I don't use my folders often enough), a die cut sun and Memory Box clouds.  The sentiment comes with the image.

I would like to enter:

Passion for Markers - Sentimental (use a sentiment)
Simon Says Stamp Weds - Anything Goes
We Love Chocolate Baroque - Bright Sunny colours
Creative Knockouts - Tic Tac Toe (dry embossing, image, use a sentiment)

Thank you for taking the time to visit and any comments you may leave.  Have a good week.
