WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE FLOWER?

Good Morning Everyone,

It is the start of a new challenge today at As You Like It and the theme is to show a project containing your favourite flower (and don't forget to say why please).

I love most flowers, but have chosen tulips this time.  I think they look so regal when you so them in displays and come in such wonderful colours.  They are also a sign that we are seeing the end of winter and getting into warmer weather.

For my DT card I have coloured a digital image from Power Poppy with copics.  I have used a snippet of striped paper from an old LOTV pad and the back mats are also snippets.  The sentiment is also from LOTV stamped with Versafine Black.

The sponsor for this challenge is:

FEBRUARY RUDOLPH DAY

Good Afternoon Everyone,

A quick card from me today to enter into the February Rudolph Days challenge.

I've upcycled another Christmas card  that we received.  I don't like to throw the nicer ones away and they always come in handy when you are short of time.

With this one I've made it smaller with a square stitched die and matted onto some platinum pearlised card.  I've added four small sparkly gems and stickles to parts of the snow.

Thank you for visiting and have a good evening.  I'll be back tomorrow.

CWTC DT - ANYTHING GOES/CAS

Good Morning Everyone,

It is time for the first challenge of the year over at Christmas with the Cuties and the theme is Anything Goes with the option of Clean and Simple.

I have gone for the CAS option and used part of the Christmas Trio Block kindly supplied by the sponsor, Bugaboo Stamps.  I have coloured 2 of the squares with copics and fussy cut them out.  I die cut a piece of hammered card with a stitched rectangle to fit a small A6 card and adhered the two squares to it.  The sentiment is a scrap of ribbon which came as a free sample from a ribbon order so I didn't need to do anything with it apart from attach it with double sided tape.  As I said, a simple card and quite clean for me too.

I hope you will be able to join in with the challenge and there's a voucher for the lucky winner from the sponsors:

FAVOURITE ANIMAL AT AYLI

Good Morning Everyone,

Today is the start of another challenge at As You Like It and this week we would like to see a project featuring your favourite animal.

Normally I would always say dogs, but this time I have chosen my favourites to colour, which are bunnies.  They are always so cute and can be used for birthdays, Spring or Easter cards.

I have coloured my image from Di's Digistamps with copics and used papers from an old LOTV pad. the flowered circle is not from the same pad, but also retired LOTV.  Seeing as this is an afternoon tea image, I had to add a doily and whilst the scalloped border die was still on my desk I decided to use that again.

The sponsor for the challenge is:

with a voucher for the lucky winner

I would like to enter:

Ally's Angels - Anything Goes
Creatalicious - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp Weds - 2 or more patterned papers
The Cuties Pies - Cute and Cuddly Animals
Pixie's Snippets Playground - snippets were all the blue mats, checked strip and flowery circle

Thank you for visiting and have a lovely weekend.

BALANCING ACT

Morning Everyone,

This is a card made for my daughter-in-law's birthday.  I usually try and put a cat on her cards as she loves cats and has 3 of them.

I've made a larger than normal card for me, size C5, and used a Penny Black stamp called Balancing Act.  I've coloured her with copics to match the First Edition papers.  The sentiment is from LOTV and has been stamped in metallic silver.  A Stampin Up die has been used for the scalloped borders and a wonky stitched die from Creative Dies for the image.

I would like to enter:

Stamping Sensations - Feminine
Penny Black Saturday - Anything Goes
Ellibelle's Crafty Wednesday -  Add a Sentiment
Penny's Paper Crafty #464 - Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes
Crafty Catz - Anything Goes

Thank you for visiting and have a good weekend.

ORNAMENTS

Good Morning Everyone,

It is the 1st of the month so time for a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas challenge and this month the theme is Ornaments.

When hunting through my papers and wondering what to do for my DT card I found this blue sheet which was a freebie from a magazine, so I thought it would be just right and too nice to cover up.  I've used hammered card for the base and edged the design paper with silver mirri  card. I used a stitched banner die onto which I've heat embossed the sentiment and also added some sparkly gems.  A quick and simple card (once I'd decided what to do - which often takes longer than the actual making!).

I hope you can pop over to the challenge to see the inspiration from the rest of the team.

I would like to enter:

C.R.A.F.T. - Christmas
Creatalicious - Anything Goes
Creative Craft Cottage - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp Weds - Anything Goes

Thank you for visiting and I hope you have a lovely weekend.
