Morning Everyone,
Another Christmas card to share with you today. This one is Bert Mouse from Digistamp Boutique.
I coloured him with copics and used papers from a Craft & You pad called Frozen. I just love the greens in the pad.
I have added a sentiment, also from DSB, and a strip of gorgeous silver glittery ribbon. His pom pom has fun flock added and glitter and stickles on his stocking and snow.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Rudolph Days June - Anything Christmas
ABC Christmas - M is for mouse
Winter Wonderland - Square cards
The Ribbon Girl - Anything Goes
Sketchy Challenges - Anything Goes
Christmas Cards All Year Round - Non traditional colours
I hope you are enjoying the lovely sunny weather at the moment. I must say it's a bit much for me unless I'm in the shade :).
Have a good rest of the week and thank you for visiting. I hope you can leave a comment as I love to read them.

CHRISTMAS WITH THE CUTIES - BLUE & WHITE
Morning Everyone,
I hope you are all enjoying the warm sunny weather here in the U.K. It seems a bit strange talking about Christmas in the middle of June, but it is time for another challenge at Christmas with the Cuties and the theme this time is "Blue and White".
The sponsors for the challenge are Crafty Sentiments and I have used their snowman frame and raided my Christmas snippets folder for blue and white bit. I've coloured him with copics and cut the pieces into various shapes and used a darker blue for the scalloped edging and matting. A few sparkly gems have been added and that's about it, a fairly easy card really.
There will be a lovely prize for the winner of the challenge from Crafty Sentiments and if you'd like to pop over to the challenge here you'll be able to see the inspiration from the rest of the DT.
I would like to enter these challenges:
Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas - Anything Goes
Crafty Gals Corner - Anything Goes
Christmas at Sweet Stampin - Anything Christmas
Pixie's Snippets Playground #329 - Use snippets
Artistic Inspirations - Anything Goes
Thank you for visiting and I hope you can leave a comment as I do love to read them.

AYLI DT - DRY OR HEAT EMBOSSING?
Morning Everyone,
I can't believe it's 2 weeks since I last posted! Other things seem to get in the way at the moment especially with the lovely weather we've been having.
Anyway, it's time for a new challenge over at As You Like It and we would like you to show us a project containing your favourite type of embossing (and don't forget to tell us why please).
I seem to use heat embossing mainly for sentiments, especially Christmas ones, so I've chosen dry embossing for my card with a cloud embossing folder and added some blue chalk in between the clouds. The image is from a Happy Hoppers set by Stampendous and I have coloured him with copics and fussy cut him before attaching to the card. The lovely papers are old LOTV and I've used a sentiment from a MFT dragon set as I thought it was quite apt in a funny sort of way.

AYLI DT - FAVE CARD SHAPE/FOLD
Morning Everyone,
I hope you are all keeping well. It's time for another challenge at As You Like It and the theme for the next fortnight is to show us a project featuring your favourite card shape or fold (and don't forget to say why please).
After square cards my favourite "go to" shape is this Go Kreate Frilly #10. I love the curves on it and it's not too fancy like some you can buy. When my daughter asks for a card she always asks for "that nice shape".
As I've been short on crafting time just lately I've used an image from a LOTV art pad and also used some of their old papers. The sentiment is from Craftwork cards and I've added a piece of natural twine for a bit of interest.

SPARKLES CHRISTMAS DT - SANTA
Good Morning Everyone,
As it's the 1st of the month it's time for a new challenge over at Sparkles Forum Christmas challenge and we would like to see a project featuring Santa this time.
This is my card using a Wild Rose Studio stamp, which I've coloured with copics. Whilst sticking the card together I had a real disaster in that somehow I managed to get some glue on the original sentiment and with it being in metallic ink, which doesn't seem to dry as well as normal ink, it smeared terribly when I tried to get it off. I could have cried and, after all the colouring I'd done, which I was quite happy with, I couldn't start again. So I've had to mess about making a stitched rectangle, which wasn't a standard size, to cover the offending sentiment and re-stamp it. I stamped two small holly sprigs from another set and added tiny pearls for the berries. It's not a bad recovery, but I was really pleased to have stamped the sentiment on the same piece as the image then that happened! I've added gold mirri card and the card itself is red so I've added a die cut shape inside which is the same shape as the gold mirri.
If you'd like to pop over to the challenge here you'll be able to see the inspiration from the rest of the DT.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Weds - Anything Goes
Penny's Paper Crafty #382 - Anything Goes
Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas - Anything Goes
Little Miss Muffet - Anything Goes
Creative Moments - Anything Goes
Thank you for visiting and I hope you find time to leave a comment. Have a lovely weekend,
Lynne x
