FESTIVE FURRY FRIENDS - CHRISTMAS WITH CUTIES DT

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you are having a good Bank holiday weekend.

It is time for a new challenge over at Christmas with the Cuties and the theme for this one is Festive Furry Friends so I hope you are able to play along with your cute and christmassy projects.

For my card I've used this cute Lee Holland digital bunny in his rather large Christmas jumper.
I've coloured him with copics and fussy cut him out and added him to my card with foam tape.  I've heat embossed the sentiment, which was a freebie from a magazine, onto silver sheen card and cut it out with a stitched banner from Creative Expressions.  The same silver sheen card has been used for the  Holly Jolly die which is from Find It Trading.  Pale green sequins to match his jumper have been added.

The sponsor for the challenge is:

So if you'd like to pop over here you'll be able to see the inspiration from the rest of the DT .

Challenges I would like to enter:

Rudolph Days May challenge - Anything Christmas
Southern Girls - Sparkle and Shine
Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas - Anything Christmas
Crafting by Design - Get Ready for Christmas
Creative Knockouts - Furry Friends

Just to let you know I have added a Data Protection and Privacy Policy on a new page if you'd care to read it.  I would like to thank Marianne for allowing hers to be used.

Thank you for taking the time to visit and I hope you can leave a comment as I love to read them.

AYLI DT - FLORA OR FAUNA?

Morning Everyone,

It's time for a new challenge at As You Like It and this fortnight's theme is to showcase a project using your favourite of either Flora or Fauna (and don't forget to tell us why it's your favourite please).

As you can see from my card I have chosen fauna.  I do love the gorgeous colours of flowers and love my garden, but for card making I nearly always choose cute animals  as I find them more fun to colour and they seem more appealing.

I have used a Happy Hopper stamp bought recently, I thought it was so cute with the two bunnies dressed up as bees.  I have coloured them with copics and added glamour dust to their wings.  The papers are snippets from my files as well as the kraft pieces of cardstock.  The sentiment is computer generated and the hexagon die is a MFT Die-namics one.

The sponsor for this challenge is:

MASCULINE BIRTHDAY

Hi Everyone,

It looks as though we're going to be having another good week weather wise here in the UK.  I'll be potting up some plants which I bought at the weekend.  I have to have most of my bedding plants in pots as they never do very well in the garden.

I thought I'd share the card I made for my hubby's birthday.

He likes steam trains and I found this stamp on Ebay.  It is by Viva Decor and I stamped onto Desert Storm cardstock and coloured with copics.  The papers are distressed and I've added a computer generated sentiment, a couple of tickets and some die cut cogs.

Challenges I would like to enter are:

Allsorts - Happy Birthday
A Gem of a Challenge - It's a Man's World

Thank you for taking the time to visit and I do love it when you leave a comment.  I will be back on Thursday with a DT card.

SPRING MOUSE

Morning Everyone,

I hope you are well and have had a good week.  I haven't had chance to get in the craft room lately as I've been gardening and also been doing a bit of cross stitch.

This is another card that has been in my drafts for a while so I thought it was about time to share it.  The image is from Digistamp Boutique image coloured with copics. The sentiment came with the image.

The papers are old ones from Dovecraft and I've added an orange ribbon and enamel dots to match little mouse's jumper.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Crafty Creations - Anything Goes
Crafty HazelNuts Patterned Paper May
Cute Card Thursday - The Great Outdoors
Time Out Challenge #109 - Inspired by Words
Crafting by Designs May  - Anything Goes

Have a good weekend and thank you for visiting.

PINK OR BLUE AT AYLI

Morning Everyone,

These weeks come round so fast and it's time for a new challenge over at As You Like It.  The theme for this fortnight is to showcase a project using your favourite colour of either pink or blue.

I do use blue sometimes and the only reason I have chosen pink is because I make a lot more feminine cards than masculine and I can tell from my scraps folders as pink is the largest one.

I have used Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Sweet Pea, her first inking, coloured with copics and fussy cut.  I've place her against a brick embossed wall which has been lightly dusted with beige chalk.  The papers are from an old LOTV pad.  I did add a piece of pink ribbon to the striped paper as I was going to add a bow but when I placed it on the card it didn't look right so the ribbon had to stay as it was already stuck!  The mini scalloped circle dies are from Tonic and the sentiment from a free Paula Pascal sentiment set from a magazine, I think.

I must say Tiny Townie looks a little wonky in the photo, but I think it must be the way her legs are crossed as she is definitely straight on the card.

The sponsor for this challenge is

with a lovely prize for the winner.

I hope you can join us in this challenge and if you'd like to pop over here you'll be able to see the lovely inspiration from the rest of the DT.

Challenges I would like to enter:

Pixie's Snippets Playground - snippets used are both pieces of white card and the striped green piece.
Crafteezee Shop May - Pretty in Pink
Penny Black & More - Anything Goes
CCC Digi Creations - Flower Power
C.R.A.F.T. - Birthday

Thank you for taking the time to visit. I hope you have a lovely weekend,

VINTAGE FLORA

Morning Everyone,

What gorgeous weather we've had for the Bank Holiday here in the UK!  I've tried to do some gardening, but the heat gets to me in the end so have to go and relax somewhere either inside or in the shade.

I thought it was about time I shared this card which has been in my Drafts for a while.  It was coloured for a Facebook challenge where the theme was Monotone colouring.

I went for the vintage look as at the time, and the fact that I hadn't done this type of colouring before, I couldn't think of anything else!  I used warm greys in the copic range as they seemed easier to work with.  I tried the E40's range to start with but one of my pens kept going sticky so I had to give that idea up in the end.

The image is called Vintage Flora from LOTV and I've used papers from First Edition The Promise pad.  All the edges are distressed and I've added a lovely sheer ribbon,  a doily,  pearls and a brad to finish it off.

Challenges I would like to enter:

Let's Craft and Create - Lace, Ribbon, Twine
Addicted to Stamps - Ribbons Galore
Crafty Catz - Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes
The Sketchy Challenges - Ribbon, Lace or Twine
Penny's Paper Crafty 378 - Anything Goes

Thank you for visiting and I hope you can leave a comment as I do love to read them.

See you soon,

SPARKLES CHRISTMAS DT - REINDEER

Morning Everyone,

It's the start of a new month and start of a new challenge over at Sparkles Christmas Challenge.  I've chosen the theme for this month and it is "Reindeer" so as long as your Christmas project features one or more of these it will fit in nicely.

For my card I've used the LOTV reindeer collection and this is one of the images in that collection.  I've coloured them with copics and cut them out on quite a large Spellbinders die from the Timeless  Rectangles set so the card is just a little smaller than C6 size.   Other dies used are a Joy craft snowflake and a Sue Wilson poinsettia.  Crispy ribbon, white satin ribbon, stickles on the snow and a few pearls complete it.

I hope you like and if you want to pop over to the challenge here you'll be able to see the lovely inspiration from the rest of the DT.

Challenges I would like to enter:

Simon Says Stamp Weds - Anything Goes
Colour Crazy wk 17 - Anything Goes
Christmas Crafts All Yr Round - Anything Goes
Hiding In My Craft Room - Any Holiday
Crafty Gals Corner - Anything Goes

It looks as though it's going to be a nice day so I think I will be gardening.  I'm trying to do a bit each day when it's fine, more little and often and not all at once!

Thank you for visiting and I hope you are able to leave a comment as I do love to read them.

Have a good week,

Lynne x
