PINGUS AND FRIEND

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Whilst rummaging through my copic paper drawer where I put my leftovers for colouring I found this polar bear and his two little friends already coloured waiting to be put on a card.  I know I used this image on my very first post so for some reason I must have changed my mind about this one after I'd cut him out.

Anyway, I printed out two more little penguins from the Arctic Fun set from Digistamp Boutique, slightly different sizes, coloured them with copics and fussy cut them too.  I extended one of my square scalloped dies and made it into a rectangle for the 5"x7" card.  The patterned paper is from an oddment of an old LOTV paper pad and I used hammered white card for the bottom.

I was going to put the bear in the middle, but changed my mind last minute as he looked better to one side.  I like a bit of glitter on snowy cards so added that and some stickles under their feet. The sentiment is from LOTV too.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Addicted to Stamps - Baby It's Cold Outside
January Rudolph Days - Anything Christmas
Pixie's Snippets Playground 317/8 - (Snippets used - white card, sentiment and patterned paper)
Digistamp Boutique - January Anything Goes

Little Miss Muffet  181 - Anything Goes

AYLI DT - FAVOURITE DIE

Good Morning Everyone,

It's time for another challenge at As You Like It and the theme for this fortnight is to showcase a project using your favourite dies (and don't forget to tell us why please).

I've decided that I'm going to TRY and not buy any new stamps (and paper) for as long as I can this year and to use some of my never before inked stamps.  So this cute one is from LOTV (I love that little bear and bunny in their skirts).  I've coloured it with copics and used my favourite dies of the moment the MFT stitched mini scalloped ones.  I love all my stitched edge dies, but I particularly like these because they give that little bit of extra detail without being too fancy.  The little flowers are Crafters Companion Sara Davies dies and I've used liquid pearls for their centres.  The sentiment is a Kaisercraft one and papers are old LOTV Snow Princess.

The fantastic prize for this challenge is from

with a $25 voucher for the lucky winner

So if you'd like to pop over to the blog here you'll be able to see the inspiration from the rest of my lovely team mates.

NEW HOME

Morning Everyone,

I hope you are all well.

My youngest daughter and her partner moved into their new home just before Christmas and this is the card I made for them.

The image is  Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Fairy Garden House coloured with copics and the backing paper is an old LOTV pad "Romance & Roses" (I love this paper).  The sentiment comes in one piece, but I've stamped them separately onto small stitched rectangles.

I would like to thank Mervi and Jules for becoming my newest followers. I hope they enjoy seeing my makes.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Daisy Chain - Something New

AYLI DT - ANYTHING GOES

Good Morning Everyone,

After our Christmas break it's time for a new challenge at As You Like It and the theme for this fortnight is nice and easy as it's Anything Goes.

For my DT card I am using one made just before Christmas.  It was a request from my daughter for one of her friends and I've used a LOTV image coloured with copics and paper from First Edition It's a Girl.  I do love making baby girl cards as you can make them really pretty and pink.  I've added cheesecloth, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, ribbon and a little heart shaped button die.  The oval die is a Sizzix Tim Holtz one.

If you'd like to pop over to the challenge here you'll be able to see the lovely makes from the rest of the team.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Creative Inspirations - Something New

SPARKLES DT - WHITE ON WHITE

Morning Everyone,

I hope you had a good Christmas and received some lovely crafty goodies.

It's the first of the month and time for another challenge at Sparkles Forum Christmas challenge.  The theme for this month is white on white so, I know it's only just gone, but we'd love to see your white christmas cards.

Using all white has given me a chance to raid my white scraps drawer.  I don't know about anyone else, but mine is rather large and doesn't seem to go down much!  I've stamped Creative Expressions shaded poinsettias onto white vellum with Versamark, heat embossed in white and fussy cut them all out (I cut them out whilst watching TV as it took quite a while).  The sentiment is also Creative Expressions and cut in glitter card and the foliage is from a Sizzix Tim Holtz mini greens die set, which was a Christmas present.  The scalloped square die is from Crealies and I think the circle die is MFT.  Glitter was added to some of the foliage and a few pearls finished it off.

I hope you like it and if you'd like to pop over to the challenge here you'll be able to see the lovely white creations from the rest of the team.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Allsorts - Seasonal Flowers
Pixie's Snippets Playground 313/314 - Snippets used for sentiment, all foliage and scalloped circle.
Creative Craft Cottage - Anything Goes
Creatalicious 130 - Anything Goes

Thank you for visiting and I appreciate any comments you leave. I love to read them.

I would like to wish you a Happy and Healthy New Year and thank you all for your visits and lovely comments over the last year.  They really mean a lot to me.
