SPRING FLOWERS

Good Morning Everyone,

I was looking for a card to send someone the other day and realised I am short of birthday cards so this is one I have made over the weekend as a start to replenish my stock.

It is a Conie Fong image called Spring Flowers, which I have coloured with copics and cut out with a Spellbinder fancy oval die.  The flowered and green papers are from LOTV and the blue is a snippet found in one of my boxes.  The embellishments are also made up of snippets, i.e. the labels which are from Mama Elephant, the flower and the little butterfly.

I originally made this for a 6" card but when I tried it on a 7" I thought it look a lot better with a large white border.

I would like to enter:

Passion for Markers - Use 3 or more papers
Simon Says Stamp Weds - Favourite technique (die cutting)
Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned Paper - Use patterned paper
Classic Design challenge - Anything Goes

Thank you for visiting and I hope you have a good week.

Lynne x

  11. Ho pretty this is Lynne - it's a card I would adore. Love the cute image and the 'frame die' you used is a great favourite of mine. I was just looking at the other day thinking how I've neglected it of late. And I agree - the bigger card and wider white border works so well.

    Hugs

    Di xx
